11/29/24 7th annual Green Friday with Salt River Project

at Bartlett Lake Flats on the tonto national forest

The day after Thanksgiving, we hosted our 7th annual Green Friday Cleanup with Salt River Project at Barlett Lake, focusing on Bartlett Lake Flats. 75 volunteers, including 9 youth volunteers, helped us remove 1,080 pounds of trash.

Green Friday is our way of thinking differently about the day after Thanksgiving; it’s a chance to celebrate the connection between people & outdoor spaces in their community, inspire environmental stewardship, & encourage use of outdoor spaces for education, recreation, & general health.

This event was financed through a grant from Salt River Project. We are grateful to everyone at SRP for their continued support of our mission and our Restoration Projects across Arizona.

RAFFLE WINNERS

WE KNOW VOLUNTEERS DON’T ATTEND OUR EVENTS FOR PRIZES, BUT IT’S A NICE WAY TO HELP SHOW THEM HOW MUCH ORGANIZATIONS AND THE COMMUNITY APPRECIATES THEIR HARD WORK.

The raffle included six 40oz Tru Flask bottles with our logo laser etched on them.
