09/23/17 Cinder Hills OHV Area Cleanup Project
Natural Restorations hosted a Cleanup Event at the Cinder Hills OHV Area in Flagstaff on Saturday, September 23rd, 2017. Volunteers and our Dedicated Restoration Team worked together throughout the morning to remove 1,700 pounds of trash from the area. That's 0.85 tons of trash no longer littering Coconino National Forest lands. Combine this event with two Dedicated Restoration Team Projects in June and July and we have removed a total of 8,740 pounds of trash from the Cinder Hills OHV Area this summer.
This project was funded by a grant from the OHV Fund administered by the Arizona State Parks and Trails Board. Click HERE to learn more about it.
